What we do

The Christchurch Hospital Medicines Information Service (MIS) answers questions about medicines from health professionals.

We welcome enquiries on a wide range of medicine-related topics, including:

The MIS is part of the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and is staffed by medicines information pharmacists, supported by clinical pharmacologists. We have an extensive database of past enquiries and access to a wide range of other databases.

Opening hours: 8 am to 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday. Enquiries can be phoned, emailed, or submitted via our website, or submitted via ERMS Online (Internet application used to create, send, and receive referrals).
